About Us
ProTraxx has provided professional development management solutions, services and consulting to address the unique needs of the education organizations since 1999.

Our flagship product, CEU EzTraxx, was launched as a standalone application to provide the functionality required to address the multitude of tasks performed within a district’s central office as an approved provider of professional development programs for certified staff. Along with delivering effective solutions to school districts, regional education service centers, the Connecticut State Departments of Education and other educational organizations, ProTraxx provides training, consulting and support services aligned with district and state defined needs, goals, standards and business practices.

In addition to supplying the tools educators need to manage and track the numerous aspects of an effective program, ProTraxx prides itself on delivering outstanding customer service and support and developing long-standing, mutually rewarding relationships with our clients.

CEU EzTraxx had a significant positive effect on workflow and management processes but, as a standalone application, it was limited in its expansion capabilities. A web-interface enhancement of the existing application was among the options considered for revision of the existing product. However, limited scalability, functionality, and substantial hardware, software and technical support costs for clients rendered it unfavorable. This approach would result in multiple databases, disparate systems across districts, and requirement of a VPN connecting schools and districts in order to achieve optimal results.

Instead, ProTraxx developed and launched a 100% web-based solution, EzTraxx Online, built on the framework of our acclaimed stand-alone application. EzTraxx Online significantly changed and improved the way districts manage their professional development programs, enter and retrieve data, and communicate with staff. Through role-based security, all employees of the district have access to the appropriate features and functionality of the EzTraxx Online application from any internet-connected PC, dramatically decreasing paper-based processes, improving communication, and promoting access to real-time data.

In 2008, ProTraxx merged with Maine-based Learning Effects, Inc., maintaining the recognizable ProTraxx name in the State of Connecticut. Learning Effects provides technology-based professional development programs to school districts around the country. We are combining our two highly complementary organizations in ways that will create both operational efficiencies and provide innovative, new offerings for our clients. The synergistic benefits of the combined entities will position us to deliver even greater value to clients as we move forward.
