The Sales Representative position will be responsible for selling ProTraxx solutions to school districts, regional education services centers and other educational institutions located primarily in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and in other states as needed. Candidates should reside within the territory and will be home office based.

Responsibilities include: prospecting new business, developing pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle, conducting online product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets. The Sales Representative works with the sales and support teams to achieve superior client satisfaction, revenue goals and market development objectives as defined by the company.

In this position, you will be directly responsible for:
  • proactively engaging and qualifying prospects over the phone
  • using online sales tracking tools to manage/track daily call activities, maintain contact information, generate qualified leads, develop a sales pipeline, and follow-up sales opportunities to achieve revenue objectives
  • developing quarterly marketing plans for target territory
  • conducting online demonstrations and direct sales presentations
  • maintaining relationships with client personnel to ensure client satisfaction, renewals and upgrades
  • meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets
  • traveling up to 50% for client meetings, presentations, conferences and trade shows
This position requires:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5 years successful experience selling software/technology solutions
  • K-12 education industry experience highly preferred
  • Outstanding presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • A positive attitude, desire to succeed and superior work ethic
  • A proven track record of consistently achieving quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Working knowledge of basic MS Office products (MS Word, PPT, Email, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of web-based solutions, ASP hosting models, server/database technology
This opportunity is a full time employee position. Compensation package consists of base salary, commission plan and company benefit program.
