What are the hardware and software requirements for using the system?
Answer:
EzTraxx Online is a completely web-based application. The only system requirement is that you are running Internet Explorer 5.5 and have a live connection to the internet.

What security does ProTraxx provide?
Answer:
ProTraxx is committed to the highest standards of security. EzTraxx Online provides three levels of security: system, data, and user.

System Security
Industry standard 128 byte SSL connection ensures that all data flowing between our servers and the user is encrypted Username and password security ensures that only authorized users have access to EzTraxx Online

Data Store Security
Social Security Numbers are encrypted within the database to render this sensitive information useless in case of an attack. Passwords are encrypted to prevent illegal access to the system in the event of an attack.

User Security
Usergroup Access prevents users from gaining access to data and functionality they have not been authorized to use. Data access security prevents users from gaining access to data that they have not been authorized to view.

What fees are associated with EzTraxx Online?
Answer:
To get started with EzTraxx Online, there are three basic fees: Setup, Subscription and Training. Additional services, including our EzData Upload, customized integration, and consulting services are optional.

Setup Fees
This is a one-time setup fee which includes:
• School District/Organization Registration and Setup
• Population of EzAdmin
• Creation of Standard User Groups
• Implementation Plan


Monthly Subscription Fees
ProTraxx’s ASP service is priced according to the number of active participants at contract inception. The monthly subscription fees include:
• System Access by all registered staff
• Customer Support
• Application Upgrades
• Product Enhancements
• Nightly Database Backup (onsite & offsite)


Optional Data Import and Integration Fees
Initial Population of EzTraxx Online - ProTraxx may import your historical CEU participation data and demographics from another database. Those clients utilizing our standalone solution, CEU EzTraxx, may have this work performed at no charge. Updating the EzTraxx Online Database from Outside Sources – Given the use of additional applications to track employee data, clients may choose to utilize our EzData Upload feature to reduce duplication of data entry and ensure EzTraxx Online has the most up-to-date information available within the district. Using our standard file format, may utilize this feature on an unlimited daily basis for the term of the contract for an additional fee. Integration – ProTraxx will work with clients to design and develop further integration that may be required to streamline processes. ProTraxx will provide specifications and estimates on a time and materials basis prior to initiating this work.

ProTraxx provides multiple resources for assisting our clients in maximizing the benefits of our online solution.

Technical Support – When you need technical assistance, we’re just an email away. Clicking on the Technical Support feature within the EzTraxx application opens an easy-to-use log. Clients may record their issue, request to be contacted by email or phone, and submit and their request immediately.

Help – A complete Knowledge Base Management feature allows you to find the help you need quickly and easily. Users may Browse, Search, or Ask a Question to find the answers they’re looking for in EzTraxx Online. Click on Help in the black tool bar to access the Knowledge Base Management tool.

  • Browse: Browse through the entire Help Knowledge Database (KB) to find information for any of the applications, modules, features, functions or actions in an easy-to-use format.
  • Search: Search the entire Help Knowledge Database to locate instructions found within your Help manual as well as posted information and based on key words, phrases, and posted information from submitted questions and answers.
  • Ask a Question!: Submit a question to our support staff and we’ll answer you promptly and share it with all clients to assist them as well.
Telephone Support – All key contact users have unlimited support to our full time staff to answer your questions between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.

News & Events – Clients are encouraged to visit our website to learn more about what’s going on at ProTraxx, in professional development around the state, and new enhancements to the application. In addition, we post press releases, allow registration to our PowerUsers sessions, showcase selected PowerDistricts, and other items of interest on our News and Events page.

Product Enhancements – Clients are notified of product enhancements which are readily available through identified access in your security module. Complete instructions for accessing new features and functionality are made available in regular email notifications, as well as a NEW FEATURES button found with the EzTraxx module.

PowerUsers - PowerUsers is our unique user group designed to bring together our clients from around Connecticut to share ideas, develop skills, and find out what’s going on in professional development. These one-of-a-kind free sessions are offered each quarter to create the environment for ongoing, effective communication between ProTraxx and our clients.

We profile a PowerDistrict each quarter to emphasize the realization of maximum benefits through promoted usage, ongoing participation in training sessions, and reception to customer feedback.

How is training delivered?
Answer:
ProTraxx utilizes a Train the Trainer model to deliver training to users who will then deliver training as needed to other users in your District. We also provide training through two of the State’s Regional Education Service Centers who offer site-based training, individualized sessions, or regionally focused seminars.

We organize training sessions into three groups:

  • Tier 1 – Includes key contact users including your professional development coordinator and support staff currently responsible for managing your program offerings. These users will become familiar with all or most of the application’s features and functionality and may or may not have access to all records, based on their roles and responsibilities. This training will be provided in one or more three-hour sessions.
  • Tier 2 – Includes administrators, principals and technical staff as well as support staff assisting in the professional development process at the building level. These users will become familiar with limited features and functionality of the application. Access to records for this group will be limited by roles and responsibilities within each building or school. This training will be provided in or more three-hour sessions.
  • Tier 3 – Includes the remaining general staff population who will be utilizing the MyEzTraxx site only for accessing their individual accounts. This training may be provided by the client or through ProTraxx in 30-45 minute sessions. Alternative training options include facilitated open lab enrollment days within each building.
Tier 1 and Tier 2 sessions may have a maximum of 20 participants. Tier 3 sessions may have an unlimited number of participants.

To learn more about our products and services, visit the ProTraxx website at www.protraxx.com, or contact us to speak with a representative. Web demonstrations or onsite visits can be scheduled to best accommodate your schedule. Demonstrations average approximately 45 minutes.
