Recovery and The Creative Process, John Schwartz
February 2022
People in recovery tend to be creative, but many of us have been disconnected from the creative aspects of our nature because of the complicated relationships we developed between our creativity and our substance use. Join the conversation as we discuss “Recovery and the Creative Process". We look into some of the following questions: Do I feel as if I’ve lost access to my creative Spirit? What strategies can I employ to re-connect with my creativity? How do I work with my inner critic in order to enjoy the benefits of my creative energy? What value do I see in nurturing this aspect of my being? Let’s get into 2022 by harnessing ALL of the internal supports at our disposal and get our recovery “engines” firing on all cylinders!.
Objectives
Participants in each session will: Gain practical knowledge and skills to navigate real life scenarios; Deepen their own self-awareness; Identify and set goals to fill any gaps in skill and/or knowledge.
