IM K–5 Math: Observing in a Problem-Based Classroom
What does effective problem-based learning look and sound like? School leaders will use video to focus on student learning behaviors in a problem-based classroom, make connections between teacher moves and student learning behaviors, and reflect on how to support teacher learning.
Objectives
Learner Objectives: 1. Describe what problem-based teaching and learning looks like. 2. Recognize observable student actions during problem-based learning. 3. Connect intentional teacher moves to observable student actions.
