This session will focus NAEYC Topic Area 2.E: Curriculum, Early Literacy. We will discuss the “big ideas” of this topic area and analyze high quality practices related to language development as described by NAEYC. The study group process will model a team approach for exploring the Standards and will provide participants with strategies to extend discussions to their own settings. Please bring a copy of the NAEYC Early Learning Program Accreditation Standards and Assessment Items with you to this training.
