Description
This training, funded by the Connecticut State Department of Education and provided in partnership with SERC and the RESC Alliance, will support the implementation of the new IEP and Connecticut Special Education Data System (CT-SEDS) on July 1, 2022. Registrants will receive access to the online Canvas course materials and Zoom links two weeks prior to the first session. The course is accessible through the My Enrollments section in Protraxx.
Objectives
Participants will be able to understand how the IEP components create cohesive programs for students with disabilities; develop quality IEPs that (a) are grounded in a student’s PLOP; (b) have aligned, rigorous, and measurable goals and objectives; and (c) have established progress monitoring processes; describe how educators in different roles contribute to the IEP development process; and understand how the IEP is documented in the new CT IEP form/CT-SEDS.
