This video training is self-paced - please disregard the start date and times.
This video training introduces the English Language Proficiency (ELP) Standards. The ELP Standards emanate from the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) for Adult Education and are required for use in all Adult Education programs. The ELP Standards address the same competencies that, in a way, relate to the instruction provided in the ESL classroom. The CSDE requires that all ESL teachers become conversant with and use the ELP Standards in curriculum development and ESL instruction. ELP Standards I and ELP Standards II MUST be taken consecutively.
