(ATDN) CCRS Math Lesson Template Study and Sample: Memorable Messages

Do you want a lesson you can use with your adult math students at a distance or in person? Do you want to learn more about planning lessons that are aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards for Mathematics?

In this session, you will participate in parts of Memorable Messages - a lesson in which students gather class data to learn about different types of graphs, determine what makes an effective visual representation, then create and present a memorable message of their own.

This lesson will be used as a lens for understanding the CT Mathematics Lesson Plan Template and how it can help you plan lessons aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS). Please consider attending the upcoming session, CCRS Math: Classroom Implementation Workshop, which is designed to guide you in creating your CCRS-aligned lesson using the template.
