Understanding the Impact of Legislative Changes on School Districts: Forum Part II
Planning & Developing Action Steps for Implementation
ACES is hosting a facilitated forum to discuss the impact of upcoming legislative changes/updates on school districts. During this forum, participants will review the legislative changes that are expected for the 2024-25 school year and beyond, and how to strategically plan for implementing these expectations with fidelity.
Objectives

Participants can expect to explore the following topics with the support of ACES leaders and professional learning specialists:

  • School Climate & Restorative Practices
  • Addressing Challenging Behaviors Expectations
  • The Multilingual Learners Bill of Rights
  • Play-Based Learning (K-1 and K-5)
  • Educator Evaluation
  • And more!
Additional Information:
During Part II, districts are encouraged to bring a small team to consider how to strategically plan for, and create action steps for, implementing legislative changes. Districts will be encouraged to connect legislative changes to their existing district goals and how to find cohesion in the work.
