PLUG IN to Teaching: Getting Ready to Teach CT Core Standards

This one day conference is specifically designed to support newly hired teachers with “0 years of experience”. The conference will assist teachers in the successful implementation of the CT Core Standards. Breakout sessions will focus on:• Effective CCS lesson design, • Rigorous instructional practices,• Use of assessments to inform instruction and • Understanding the intersection of CCS, Teacher Evaluation and TEAM. Common Core Flipbooks will be provided to all participants at the closing session.
