Teacher Evaluation Training - July 28-August 1, 2014
Workshop cost and availability is dependent on state funding and sufficient enrollment
Participants will focus on the professional practice rating determination in accordance with the CSDE 's CCT rubric. All four components of the teacher evaluation guidelines will be addressed including a proficiency assessment.Objectives:• Understand the four components of the teacher evaluation guidelines• Develop skills in conducting effective observations and providing high quality feedback• Develop skills in the collection of evidence and the mapping of evidence to the CSDE CCT rubric to determine the component rating in professional practice.• Achieve proficiency in the observation and evaluation of teachers Requirement: Bring a laptop to training. You will need to have Word 7 or later loaded onto the laptop
Objectives
This 5-day session is for all administrators who will have the responsibility of evaluating teachers through the new teacher evaluation process
