Utilizing state and national resources, participants will deepen their understanding of the development and use of the instructional cycle to guide instruction. Participants will examine formative assessment process strategies, performance tasks, and standards-based rubrics.
Objectives
• Using different types of formative assessments to guide instruction• Understanding and integrating performance tasks in lesson design/units of instruction• Using standards-based rubrics to assess student learning• Practicing the evaluation of quality of rubrics and alignment to lessons
