Connecticut Invention Convention “Boot Camp”
Real World STEM

This session is designed for the CIC Teachers/Instructors in Grades K-5 . This full day workshop is designed to provide the skills, knowledge, and strategies to effectively run CIC in classrooms, schools, and afterschool programming. We will engage in hands on learning experiences that will allow teachers to experience and familiarize themselves with the new curriculum, take part activity, and interdisciplinary aspects of the Inventing Process. Participants will also gain the experience in the literacy aspects required in the process.

Objectives
For educators to learn and share the best practices in the inventing process and the Connecticut Invention Convention Program.
