CREC's 2nd Annual Family and School Engagement Conference
- Honoring and Embracing All Children, Youth, and Families: Working with Educators and Community Partners

  • The Family and School Engagement Conference is an opportunity for those adults who work at the intersection of families and learning to gain a deeper understanding about the Dual Capacity Framework for Family-School Partnerships from the USDOE. It is targeted to schools, administrators, teachers, social workers, guidance, and family liaisons and parent educators, community agencies, after school programs, faith community and state department professionals who are connected to families.
  • Family, Schools and Community Engagement has moved from a nice thing to do to a necessity.
  • School and communities must be safe havens that welcome all youth and families, regardless of citizenship, national origin, socioeconomic statue, sexual orientation,gender, race or ethnicity so that our children will succeed in school life.
  • Objectives
    Participants will learn how to make schools and communities safe havens that embrace all youth and families, regardless of citizenship, national origin, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender, race, or ethnicity
