Engagement and Achievement in Science Education: NGSS and Universal Design for Learning (K-12) - ONGOING REGISTRATION!
ONGOING REGISTRATION! - The authors of NGSS explicitly name Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a necessary tool for the creation of science units that are meaningful, accessible and challenging for all students. This asynchronous course provides participants with opportunities to become familiar with shifts in NGSS instruction and UDL guidelines, as well as opportunities to identify potential barriers and make adjustments to better support all students. Completion takes about 8-10 hours, and participants have two (2) months to finish all of the activities in the course. Note: Day of workshop, instructor will send access link to materials by 9AM. If you enroll after material release date, you will receive access link within five (5) days.
