Reboot to NGSS

In the first half of this asynchronous course, participants will be reminded of the foundational instructional and mindset shifts in science teaching and learning as they relate to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). In the second half, participants will explore and apply various tools to enhance NGSS-alignment in curriculum and instruction. The course will conclude with the participants utilizing tools to apply to their own personal curriculum and instructional practice. Completion takes about 8-10 hours, and participants have 2 months to finish all of the activities in the course. Note: Day of workshop, instructor will send access link to materials by 9AM.
