Embark PCA Peer Recovery Coach Training Hybrid
Embark PCA-Virtual Apr 17 - 21, 2023

Our new PRCT is a virtual recovery coach training scheduled for 20 in class hours and 10 hours of mandatory homework assignments. All homework must be completed and class participation will be essential. A quiz will be assigned for each day of training. This training will be delivered virtually. The CHOICES PRC training provides a specific level of information and skills. This CHOICES PRC training is available in both English and Spanish. Our team will be offering each language at least once per quarter. We will be adding additional trainings available in English and Spanish later this summer.

Objectives (appears on the evaluation form):
Participants will gain a strong foundation of the roles of a peer recovery coach and understand how the roles are different from other traditional and existing support methods. Participants will be introduced to the many concepts and skills involved in effective recovery coaching, preparing them for professional roles to serve their communities as peer support advocates.
