Techniques and Strategies for Organizing Student Data

In an effort to ground strategic initiatives and decisions about instructional strategies in data, teachers and administrators are often left sifting through piles of information, wondering, “What data should we be looking at”? The task of organizing all of the data we collect on students can feel overwhelming. There are a variety of tools and strategies, both manual and digital, that schools can access to help organize student data so that it can be transformed into high-leverage information in support of improved student outcomes. This workshop will offer an introduction to best practices for organizing and displaying student data.
