Student Attendance and Adjustment Issues
This workshop provides participants with learning opportunities in proactive strategies, early identification, and intervention to prevent drop out and promote school completion. A variety of student engagement and re-engagement strategies for attendance and adjustment issues will be examined. Techniques for meeting at-risk students’ post-secondary needs through transition planning and programming will also be covered.
Objectives
In this dynamic and interactive workshop, participants will: 1.Identify proactive and drop-out prevention strategies 2. Learn early intervention strategies 3. Develop plans to re-engage students in their education and create transition plans.
