PBIS New School Information Session
PBIS provides an organizational approach or framework for improving the social behavior climate of the schools and supporting the impact of academic instruction on achievement and increasing proactive management.
Objectives
The objective of the school-wide positive behavioral interventions and supports workshops involve a proactive, comprehensive and systemic continuum of support designed to provide opportunities to all students, including students with disabilities and second language learners to achieve social, behavioral, and learning success. This goal is accomplished by examining the factors that impact behavior as well as the relationship between environment and behavior.
