What's So Funny?
Participants will explore humor and the connections among listening, language, and cognition and consider the implications and challenges for students with hearing loss.
Objectives
Attendees will be able to name three categories that jokes might fall under. Attendees will be be able to list some challenges for students with hearing loss when learning and understanding jokes.Attendees will be able to list some teaching tips that can be used when working on jokes with students with hearing loss.
