Transitioning ESL Students to Post-Secondary Education
Many ESL students come to our programs with high school diplomas and/or college degrees from their home countries. Acknowledging and evaluating these documents may help our students to reach their goals and be successful. Creating viable and appropriate Career Pathways for these students as they continue on to post-secondary education or training programs presents many challenges, including how/where to get credentials evaluated for college admission, how to determine when they have enough English to be successful, and how we can help with visa/immigration issues. If you are not currently working with an AE program, there is a charge of $50/ ½ day session or $100/full day session; billed after completion of the workshop.
