CREC Talks: Fireside Chat About Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a specific disability in the area of reading. Some may also have difficulty in spelling words or writing words and others may have difficulty in pronouncing words when reading aloud. Dyslexia affects 20 percent of the population. Join us for a FREE chat with Emmy Award winning filmmaker Harvey Hubbell V, parent Flor De Hoyos, along with Lisa Fiano, CREC Education Specialist and expert in Dyslexia. Both Harvey and Flor have experienced life as or with someone who has dyslexia. We will discuss life with the disability and the tools that allow individuals with dyslexia to reach their goals. Harvey will also preview a segment from his new film, ONE BY ONE: The Teachings of Diana King.
