21stCCLC Half-Day Professional Development Opportunity - Only for 21stCCLC Grantees
This half-day professional development opportunity is designed for after school program staff who work with students in grades 3-6. Participants will learn fraction based activities to engage students in learning content related to school day learning and grade level standards.
Objectives
  • Participants will learn how to translate content area focus into practical use for after school, including a “make and take” session to walk away with materials to use in their programs.
  • Participants will work with presenters to develop work plans that align with program and school objectives and help build a toolkit for work with fractions that engage students in hands on learning.
