CCRS ELA 201 Resource Alignment
Checking for resource alignment ensures that instructors will not simply teach what the current curriculum focuses on, but rather provide instruction centered on what the College & Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) demand. Learning how to evaluate resources builds instructors capacity to align their teaching to CCR standards. The process of identifying and filling the gaps in current curricula also provides instructors with readily available resources aligned to CCR standards. During this session, participants will utilize the tools provided to evaluate resources and revise resource lessons. Please bring a resource currently in use in your program and a laptop with Wi-Fi capability. SNOW DAY FEBRUARY 13, 2017. If you are not currently working with an AE program, there is a charge of $50/ ½ day session or $100/full day session; billed after completion of the workshop.
