Master Coaching Institute
This 2-day institute is for experienced instructional coaches, at all grade levels and subject areas, who have either attended Instructional Coaching training, or have at least 4-5 years coaching experience. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of various coaching frameworks, theory, research, current perspectives and practices. The workshop explores the unique perspective of a “coaching mindset.” This institute will focus on building better relationships, having productive conversations, assessing student work, providing feedback, using videotape to improve instruction, becoming an agent for change, and identifying ways to promote teacher reflection to improve student learning.
Objectives
Participants will deepen their understanding of various coaching frameworks, theory, research and perspectives; and, working with an experienced CREC coach, will develop a plan to put their new learning into practice right away.
