21st CCLC After School Programs Networking (2nd Mandatory Meeting)
The CT State Department of Education in collaboration with the CT Department of Public Health will present an overview for 21st Century Community Learning Centers that addresses health and wellness in after school programming. Participants at this event will learn national and state guidelines for meeting the health and safety of student participants and the requirements for aligning school day health services with after school programs. Presenters will share best practices for implementing components of nutrition and physical activity into program offerings and curricula.
