Meaningful Instruction: Using Bloom's Taxonomy for English Learners in the General Education Classroom
Higher-Order Thinking Skills by Proficiency Levels
The workshop will support educators who are working with or have a large ELL population at their school or district with assisting ELs with meaningful instruction that utilizes higher-order thinking skills. Teachers who attend this workshop may be looking for ways to support ELL students in participating more in the regular education classroom. The session will give educators various ways to build academic discourse and provide engaging activities that motivate students in the learning process.
Objectives
Participants will acquire new strategies to engage and provide English Learners with meaningful instruction.
