Standards Informed IEPs: Making Connections Series
This Workshop will support early childhood special education personnel to learn how the CT Early Learning and Development Standards (CT ELDS) can be used to guide the development of IEP goals and objectives. The training will emphasize the importance of developing participatory, activity based goals and objectives. Participants will be provided an opportunity to plan the effective implementation of the IEP reflecting the CT ELDS.Part 1: The Assessment Process and Writing the Present Level of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP). Part 2: Writing Functional, Activity Based, and Participatory IEP Goals and Objectives and IEP Implementation.
Objectives
Developing participatory, activity based goals and objectives, and provide an opportunity to plan the effective implementation of the IEP, reflecting CT ELDS.
