School Structures to Support English Learner Writing Instruction
This full day workshop is divided into two sessions. The morning will focus on structural supports necessary to support the teaching of writing to English Learners. The intended audience for the morning is classroom teachers, EL teachers/tutors and building administrators. In the afternoon, classroom and EL teachers will learn several strategies to incorporate writing into the classroom and have the opportunity to work as a team to apply their new learning in their lesson plans.
