Illustrative Math 6-8
This 2-day workshop will provide teachers and instructional leaders with professional development designed around the Illustrative Math 6-8 curricula and materials.
Objectives
Participants will engage in hands on activities that deepen their understanding of the 5 Practices framework and illustrate the importance of norms and routines. Attendees will then learn how these practices can be applied to support teacher planning, foster student discussions, and build mathematical understandings.

Things to know -

  • Bring any snacks and/or lunch you need as there is no food service available for this workshop.
  • Bring a refillable water bottle and/or beverage.
  • Bring a laptop or other electronic device (some workshops require only laptop) for note taking and access to online resources.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.
  • Sometimes workshop room temperatures can vary so we suggest you dress in layers.
