School Counseling and Career Pathways: Rethinking Career and Technical Education (CTE)
This workshop will focus on the importance of expanding career guidance and advisement for students and their families under the newly authorized Perkins V. Discussion will focus on developing and promoting rigorous career pathways, leveraging CT Department of Labor resources to inform post-secondary and career selection, dual concurrent programming, work-based learning, and innovations in 21st Century pre-apprenticeships and other industry recognized credentials.
