Elementary Math Workshop Series: First Steps
Snowdate is 2/22/2020
This year long half day professional development series will provide participants with the opportunity to implement math workshop in their elementary classroom. We will address different structures, routines and rituals used to initiate and sustain a workshop classroom over the course of the school year.

Things to know -

  • Workshop registration does not include breakfast or lunch. Please feel free to bring your own food and beverage or visit the CREC Central Café (111 Charter Oak Ave.) which offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options with daily specials.
  • Bring a refillable water bottle and/or beverage.
  • Bring a laptop or other electronic device (some workshops require only laptop) for note taking and access to online resources. Earbuds are optional, but recommended.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.
  • Sometimes workshop room temperatures can vary so we suggest you dress in layers.
  • Please check the CREC website or your local TV station for any delay/closing information.
