Elementary Computer Science Workshop: In this session participants will work with the computer science standards in order to identify and prioritize those being taught at the elementary school level. Teachers will also discuss best practices for teaching computer science at the elementary level, share activities, and discuss how to better implement the technology the schools already have. Objectives: Teachers will be able to identify critical computer science standards and discuss best practices in implementing these standards. Teachers will develop a year long plan to address their needs in teaching computer science during the "Elementary Computer Science Teachers Workgroup" meetings.
