Assistive Technology for Students with Dyslexia - Elementary
Students with dyslexia require appropriate instructional accommodations that allow them to access and be successful in instruction in the general education curriculum. This workshop explores assistive technology options across a variety of platforms. Access link and instructions will be provided to registrants prior to the session.

  Things to know -
  • Workshop registration does not include breakfast or lunch. Please feel free to bring your own food and beverage or visit the CREC Central Café (111 Charter Oak Ave.) which offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options with daily specials.
  • Bring a refillable water bottle and/or beverage.
  • Bring a laptop or other electronic device (some workshops require only laptop) for note taking and access to online resources.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.
  • Sometimes workshop room temperatures can vary so we suggest you dress in layers.
  • Please check the CREC website or your local TV station for any delay/closing information.
