Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and Restorative Practices

This workshop will describe the rationale for Restorative Practices in schools, identify and demonstrate a continuum of restorative practices and discuss a restorative approach as an alternative to traditional discipline practices.

Objectives
Participants will examine strategies for aligning and integrating Restorative Practices within a multi-tiered system of support.

Things to know -

· Workshop registration does not include breakfast or lunch. Please feel free to bring your own food and beverage or visit the CREC Central Café (111 Charter Oak Ave.) which offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options with daily specials.

· Bring a refillable water bottle and/or beverage.

· Bring a laptop or other electronic device (some workshops require only laptop) for note taking and access to online resources.

· Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.

· Sometimes workshop room temperatures can vary so we suggest you dress in layers.
