CT Early Learning Development Standards (ELDS) Intermediate Training

This session will focus on using the CT ELDS as the foundation of a cycle of intentional teaching. Participants will consider approaches to developing quality planned programs, including engaging environments and rich learning experiences. This session will also explore the beginning use of the CT ELDS to support all children’s learning and development, using differentiation to meet the needs of diverse learners and children who are dual language learners.This training builds on Core Knowledge and Competency Level 1 and addresses Competency Level 2.

Things to know -

Workshop registration does not include breakfast or lunch.
Bring a refillable water bottle and/or beverage.
Bring a laptop or other electronic device (some workshops require only laptop) for note taking and access to online resources.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.
Sometimes workshop room temperatures can vary so we suggest you dress in layers.

If CREC Central (includes Van Dyke Conference Center) opens on a delayed schedule - ALL DAY workshop will begin ½ hour after CREC Central opens. MORNING (AM ONLY) workshops will be cancelled. AFTERNOON (PM ONLY) workshops will remain as scheduled.
