Book Club - Deeper Discussions in Culturally Relevant Pedagogy (CRP): Young, Gifted, and Black
Participants will participate in a four part series of book groups that include deep and focused analysis of topics connecting race to the understanding and application of Culturally Relevant Pedagogy. Participants will examine barriers to, and ways to increase access to, AP for students of color; specifically Black and Brown students. Required Text (not included): Required text (not included): "Young, Gifted and Black: Promoting High Achievement among African-American Students" by Theresa Perry, Claude Steele and Asa Hilliard III
