*POSTPONED* Acting Camp
Acting Camp at the Theater at WorkspaceCT we teach the process and craft of acting. Process and craft is what encourages young minds to create and imagine. Learning at the Theater at WorkspaceCT is cultivating experience. Students will develop skills and deepen understanding over time, all while building confidence, communication skills and encouraging them to find their individual creative voice. Students will develop characters through physical and internal improvisational exercises, learn to analyze text, create and find objectives and obstacles. Emphasis on voice, clarity and being present and in the moment on stage. Students will start with monologues and work there way into scenes. At the conclusion of the session, family and friends are invited to a performance of their hard work.
