Assessment of Afterschool Program Practices Tool (APT) for 21st CCLC Programs
The Assessment of Afterschool Program Practices Tool (APT) was developed by the National Institute on Out-of-School Time (NIOST) with 21st Century Community Learning Centers in mind! The APT provides a way for after school staff to access the quality of their services and use data to make program improvements. Quality after school programs produce positive outcomes in youth!
Objectives
Participants in this training will: Explore principles that guide program improvement.Learn to utilize the Assessment of After School Program Practices Tool (APT) for program improvement.Explore the components of the APT.Discuss ways to provide feedback to frontline staff.
