IM K-2 Math: Establishing Instructional Routines

An IM Certified Facilitator will lead this K-2 module where participants will experience three key instructional routines from the IM curriculum. Participants explore the conditions that support these instructional routines and explain how instructional routines can promote equity by inviting all students to access grade-level content.

Learner Objectives: 1. Describe what instructional routines are and how they are used in the curriculum. 2. Recognize necessary classroom conditions that make instructional routines successful. 3. Prepare to incorporate one or more instructional routines into current teaching practice.
