The Importance of Play (Yes….even in school!)

Fred Rogers (better known as TV’s Mr. Rogers) said, “Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning, but for children, play is serious learning.” In addition to improving language, social, physical, math, science, and thinking skills, play can lead to social emotional and intellectual growth for students of all ages.
