RESC Alliance - Grading Reform Pathway
In this five part pathway series, participants in this pathway will: 1) Build capacity to lead transformation in grading practices, including developing a common purpose for grades; 2) Investigate strategies for separating academic achievement from non-academic factors in grade.;3) Examining methods for assessing and reporting student learning; and 4) Develop strategies to engage teachers, families, and community members in conversation about equity-focused grading, feedback, and assessment practices. Session content: Session 1: Grading: Past, Present, & Visioning the Future; Session 2: Making Grading Transparent; Session 3: Pathways to Grading Reform; Session 4: Aligning Policies and Practices; and Session 5: Developing a Systematic Plan for Implementation. Note: Workshop Series held at CREC, Hartford, CT
