Bridge to Kindergarten Series: UDL in the Pre-K/K Classroom

This workshop will discuss the various ways Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers can incorporate universal design for learning (UDL) principles in activities and interactions to support children’s active engagement. Specific attention will be given to creating learning environments and experiences that support all learners. Intended audience: Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers.

Objectives
Participants will: 1. Describe the UDL Guidelines and their application in the early learning classroom. 2. Compare UDL practices with DAP practices. 3. Analyze the classroom environment using a UDL environmental checklist."
