Audience: Secondary (6-12) Focus: General (Environment, Instruction), My session connects to both of the relationships areas as well as instruction. It will offer self-care strategies & education for teachers (some of which can also be used in the classroom) while also modeling classroom management routines and techniques inclusive of: classroom rewards (positive behavior reinforcement), using activators/do now, social emotional check-ins and check-outs, using the circles for communication, and take care area/station. Laptops are not necessary for this session. Everything needed will be provided in the session. Additionally, there will be access to a Schoology course with all the resources used in the session.

This workshop has components of Equity, Instruction, relationships, and student support; it checks all the boxes. I developed and lead it for Windsor High School, Windsor Middle School, and Bloomfield High School, all with much positive feedback. It will be a pleasure to lead it for CREC. Thank you!
