Recovery Coaching Basics    Bold North Recovery - MN
This training is based on our flagship training, the Recovery Coach Academy (RCA). This curriculum provides a basic, introductory version of Recovery Coaching in order to meet the needs of those who want a general understanding of the recovery process to better understand and support the recovery of their loved ones, friends, and colleagues. Although we believe our five day curriculum is the preferred vehicle to learn about this very important role, we do realize that not everyone has the desire to become a recovery coach or the amount of time need for that type of endeavor. Our hope is that many of your questions about recovery and the recovery process will be answered. Much like the journey of recovery, this training provides you with an emotionally rich experience, combined with skills and techniques for real life application. Whether you use it to improve your relationships with those in or seeking recovery, or apply it to your own recovery… you will be transformed. This educational program is approved by NAADAC #195293

Ethical Considerations For Recovery Coaches    Detroit Recovery Project, Michigan
Ethics trainings are not all created equal. Recovery Coaches need an understanding of ethics that differs from those of clinicians due to their unique role while guiding someone through their own recovery process.Recovery coaching as a peer-to-peer recovery support services has grown exponentially over the past few years. The issue of ethical considerations has been discussed in many circles yet formal training has been lacking for recovery coaches. This 16 hour training addresses this critical need. Based on the widely used Ethical Guidelines for the Delivery of Peer-based Recovery Support Services by William White and PRO-ACT (2007), we designed this training to help coaches, and anyone else working in the peer role, to understand how critical it is to be ethically responsible. Using presentations, small group work, and role play to address many areas including: defining the coaching service role and functions, coaching standards, issues of vulnerability, ethical decision making, performance enhancement and legal issues. This year we have added an additional half day of training, to allow for more opportunities to practice using relevant scenarios coaches may face on a daily basis.

Coachervision - Online    Portland Recovery Community Center Maine
This educational program is approved by NAADAC #195293. Recovery coaching is growing as a profession due to its effectiveness in not only helping people find recovery, but staying in recovery. We see coaches deployed in a wide variety of settings and as such, coaches are supervised by a wide range of positions…and not everyone who is overseeing the coaches understands fully the unique nature of the role. In many cases, we see Peer Supervision models as an attempt that does not truly align with the recovery coaching model? We hope you will join us for what we believe is a model for oversight that resonates most with the role of the coach – aptly named, Coachervision. Based on the concept of “coaching coaches”, this workshop will provide participants with an understanding of how to best support coaches day-to-day and develop coaches for long-term success.

Because of these high standards of excellence for our training programs and expectations of what we feel make good Recovery Coaches, CART is constantly asked to help agencies looking to employ CCAR trained Recovery Coaches. However, the landscape of where those roles are available has changed. Typically you’d find Recovery Coaches at your local recovery community centers, but now we are seeing a greater need for skilled coaches to work in other professional settings, such as hospitals, treatment facilities, police stations and court systems. In response to the demand, CART has developed what we think will be a highly utilized and sought after training program for Recovery Coaches looking to work or are working within professional settings.

Recovery Coaching Basics Online    Healthy Acadia, Maine

Ethical Considerations For Recovery Coaches    Peer 360 Recovery Alliance, Michigan
