(ATDN) ESL Day: Supporting ESL Instructor’s Skills in Delivering Differentiated Instruction to Multilingual Learners
A professional opportunity with Jayme Adelson-Goldstein for ESL instructors to take a deeper dive into differentiation strategies to make meaningful connections between their instructional planning, the English Language Proficiency Standards, and learner voice and choice. Participants will apply the ideas, materials, and strategies presented in one session to their instructional planning and delivery, then reflect and expand their understanding in a follow-up session. Participants will receive a needs assessment survey in October, an interim assignment between sessions, and an additional survey in February to gather “notice and wonder” comments about their interim work.

Audience: ESL Lead Teachers and Citizenship Teachers
