After viewing this video training and completing the accompanying activities, you will be able to explain the rationale for using high-leverage practices that scaffold learning, promote collaboration, develop academic language, and prompt critical thinking. In addition, you will be able to explain the connection between these practices and the ELPs for Adult Education, choose supports for meeting rigorous standards at all levels of instruction, and apply high-leverage instructional practices in lessons for all levels of adult ESL classes.ELP Standards I and ELP Standards II MUST be taken consecutively.
