(ON-DEMAND) CCRS - Math 102B: Standards for Mathematical Practice

Building on work done in the Math 102A video training, you will continue to analyze problems and habits of the mind required to solve those problems. Through the various activities, you will investigate Practices that illustrate ways in which students are to engage with the subject matter of the content standards. The skills of complex problem-solving, modeling, precise communication, and making connections will be practiced and discussed. Activities encourage a deeper understanding of implementing the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) in Adult Education instruction.

Please note that the Total Contact Hours are a reflection of the points required to complete the course and not a reflection of the time it will take for a participant to complete.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this video training, you will have:

Developed an understanding of the Standards for Mathematical Practice.
Considered ways and resources to elicit Standards for Mathematical Practice from your students.
Examined the Standards for Mathematical Practice when designing instruction.
